CNC Machinist (with manual machining)


Job Description

Manufacturing parts for our associated Solenoids & Electromagnets.

Operating, setting and programming CNC Lathes.

Familiarity with FANUC CNC control or similar would be an advantage.

Manual Machining on Centre Lathe, Capstans and Mills.

Working primarily with mild steel and stainless steel but, occasionally also nylon, brass and aluminium.

Ability to sharpen tools would be beneficial.

Working to drawings in both metric and imperial.

Hard working, self motivated with a good engineering background.

Working Hours

39 per Week

Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm

Friday 8am-1pm

Hourly rate – Competitive, depending upon experience.


Previous experience of CNC Lathes, turning and manual machining (minimum of 3 years)
